a fun day in Bengbu

Today we traveled into the city for the first time by ourselves! We made it there and back. Mary had arranged taxi’s to take us there and pick us up so we didn’t have to do much we just needed to be in the correct destinations at the right time. When we got to Bengbu we decided we wanted to explore the city a little. We checked out a few different markets. We walked around the park and took lots of pictures. We checked out the movie theater. We’re going to go to a movie sometime. They’re only in Chinese but I think that’ll be kind of fun. It was a really fun day being together and being in the city. It wasn’t dirty and we felt quite safe. We still haven’t seen any other Americans yet. Maybe one of these days we will…
