power outage and no water :(

For about a week and a half straight the power would go off each night around 10:30 pm and stay off until 5:45 am. Not only did the power go out but the internet and water did as well. It was quite frustrating sometimes. One night we were just about to bake some brownies when the power shut off! We were so bummed we had to put them back in the bowl and cook them the next day. Then one time we went to make caramel apples and were just about ready to melt the caramel when the power shut off. On Sunday we were going to Nanjing to church and had to get ready for church in the dark. It was tough. We didn’t really know what we looked like. It was also bad that the water was out so we couldn’t even take showers. It was frustrating but I guess that this is what we get for living in China. Sometimes they just do things to do things.
